When clients come to us with unique requests, we’re happy to provide unique solutions.
One in particular, a construction company out of Utah specializing building exteriors, from Utah came to us for the development of his business’s new and improved website.
As is the present web trend, his wishes were highly image-centric, much of the site (and his business) gaining traffic from image-based platforms like Instagram. He needed a responsive WordPress site with an above-the-fold, engaging slider, a feature that would highlight his most recent projects, testimonials, mobile-enabled photo galleries, an overall project portfolio, built-in Google Maps and a blog.
We created a series of clickable maps, as well as a collapsible “Picture Of The Day” feature integrated using Instagram, which would draw attention to the best of his work. Images, after all, all but guarantee a higher conversion rate.
In construction, a steady flow of examples of individual projects is of the utmost importance; with this knowledge, we created sections for featured projects, projects in progress and project archives, categorized by project type, project material, and year of completion.
In order to further customize the site, we integrated nine separate custom plugins: Nivo Slider
NextGen Gallery, Contact Form 7, Easy Social Icons, Google XML Sitemaps, Job Manager, Simple Google Maps Short Code, Alphabetic Pagination and WordPress Shortcodes.
The client launched our design on his new page and hasn’t looked back since.
It’s in this way that we can utilize WordPress to illustrate the merits of a company, drawing attention to its best work.
